We believe students can change the world.
The University Innovation Fellows program empowers students and faculty to become leaders of change in higher education.
Fellows are leading a global movement to ensure that all students gain the attitudes, skills and knowledge required to navigate a complex world.
University Innovation Fellows, trained by Stanford's d.school, empower students around the world to become agents of change in higher education. Fellows create opportunities that help their peers unlock their creative potential and develop the design-centred mindset required to take on complex challenges in today’s world. Fellows are students of all majors and academic levels – from freshmen to PhDs – who want to shape the future of education.
We, the University Innovation Fellows of Twente, have made it our mission to empower students at our university to drive change within the Innovation and Entrepreneurship ecosystem of the University of Twente.
As of 2025, the University of Twente, through DesignLab, is officially coordinating the global UIF program. After years of close collaboration, Stanford University has entrusted UT with the continuation and future development of this impactful initiative. While Stanford will remain involved during the transition, UT now leads the program, training students around the world to become agents of change.
