IHCI is a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and advancements in the interdisciplinary field of human-computer interaction. 

We invite all reserachers, pratcitioners and prfessionals in the field of human-computer interaction to submit original research papers.

The papers can be on a diverse set of topics within the IHC domain, such as 

  1. User experience design and evaluation
  2. Usability and accessibility
  3. Cognitive and affective aspects of interaction
  4. User-centered design and innovation
  5. Social computing and collaborative interfaces
  6. HCIs for behavioural change
  7. (Generative) AI-supported HCI applications
  8. Augmented and virtual reality experiences
  9. Wearable computing and ubiquitous interactions
  10. Multimodal interfaces and natural language processing
  11. Human-robot interaction and social robotics
  12. Intelligent interfaces and interaction with new devices (e.g. 3D interfaces, intelligent, adaptable, and adaptative interfaces, natural user interfaces (NUI), tangible user interfaces (TUI), multimodal interfaces, internet of things (IoT), context-sensitive interaction; HCI for mobile devices, new interaction paradigms, information visualization)

We encourage you to submit your papers under one of the following categories:

Guidelines

The paper submitted must be written in English. The papers must follow the confernece's formatting guidelines: Springer LNCS templates. Based on the category, the paper lenght must be between 10 to 12 pages for full papers, short papers between 4 and 6 pages and case studies and indusrty papers must be between 4 to 6 pages. References are included in the lenght limits.

Review process

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by an expert panel of reviewers. Submissions will be evaluated based on their originality, significance, technical quality, and clarity of presentation.

Publication

The accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published in digital format in Lecture Notes on Computer Science (LNCS) by Springer and made available to conference attendees. The proceedings will be indexed in Scopus, Google Scholar, DBLP, ACM Digital Library, and other relevant databases. Selected papers may be considered for publication in relevant journals or special issues.
