Causal inference from observational data has been playing an important role in epidemiology, social sciences, and economics research for a long time. With the availability of large online data sets and the advancement of machine-learning methods, causal inference has become a hot topic in machine learning as well.
BDSi is organizing a paper club to get a broad overview of the methods for causal inference from observational data. We will meet every two weeks to discuss papers treating different aspects of causal inference, starting May 2nd, 16h30-17h30.
