A carefree getaway? Write your hours before the summer holiday!

Everyone working on externally funded projects must write hours (also known as “booking hours”) in Unit4, and register their leave and sickness in both AFAS and Unit4. Given the current financial situation, it is even more important to do so. Many colleagues are properly writing their hours, though at times a bit late, leading to a peak in hours that need to be written later: writing in bulk.

Let’s start fresh! Please make sure you write all your hours before your summer holiday, and after the holiday find a rhythm that suits you; each week on a certain day, or each last Thursday of the month, for instance. Again, the problem is not that no hours are being written, but that this happens infrequently and with delays.

To help, feel free to download a reminder for Outlook, to explore what rhythm suits you:
