  • Cynthia Marcelina (SAS)

Hi, my name is Cynthia Marcelina, I grew up in a small family as the firstborn. I graduated on Information system and I am highly motivated and goal-oriented, full of dedication to everything that she does. I possess 4 years of experience in the banking sector, I am a reliable person with strong attention to detail and accuracy. After 3 years of moving to the Netherlands,  my career starts as an admission officer at the University of Twente. I am grateful for the life I am living now, besides that, I also love taking pictures as my way of collecting memories and I would like to travel to different places to see the world from different perspectives.

  • Rizqia Faradiba Slamet (SAS)

Dear Colleagues, I am delighted to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the newest member of the admission officers. My name is Rizqia and I am thrilled to be joining the Student Affairs & Services at the University of Twente (UT). I am from Indonesia and I came to the Netherlands 5 years ago to study Digital Marketing at UT. After graduating, I worked as a study advisor at Twente Pathway College (TPC). I am looking forward to working together with you.

  • Denise Schwartz (SAL)

Hello everyone! Through this newsletter, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Denise Schwartz, I am 28 years old and live in Enschede. Last year I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Management Studies and then gained experience as an external secretary and administrative assistant. Now I get to join the team at SAL-BOZ and will be involved in work for the Master Robotics and Systems & Control (M-ROBSC). In my spare time, you can regularly find me at the airport or on a road trip, ready for a new city trip or just relaxing in nature. Recently, I have also discovered photography as a new hobby and this is where I live and breathe. If you have any questions, I am always open for a chat.

  • Alex van de Steeg (SAS)

Hello, my name is Alex van de Steeg (24 years old) and as of May 1st I started as an immigration/registration officer at SAS! Born and raised in Enschede, I studied International Business and Languages at Saxion. During my studies I traveled to South Korea for my minor and eventually internship. After finishing my studies, I moved back to Korea to study Korean and work for a Korean company for 2.5 years. Now that I am back in Twente, the UT looked like an interesting international environment to work in so here we are! I love learning languages, speaking Dutch, English, German and Korean. In my free time I like to play video games and go out with my friends. I am happy to join the team at CES and look forward to working together with my new colleagues.

  • Jolinde Gosseling (SU)

Hello all, I am Jolinde Gosseling, 59 years old, married to Hugo for over 30 years, and mother of daughter Djainem ( 28 ) and son Yaron (26). Since 1 June, I have been working as Office Manager at the Student Union, which is really a great new challenge for me. Succeeding Sandra Nienhuis, who held this position for more than 20 years. So I am now working for the CES department after 28 years in the Vrijhof and Sports Centre under the CFM department. So I do remain on the Boulevard, the nicest place on our vibrant Campus. For many colleagues in the Vrijhof, I am of course not an unfamiliar face. I have spent a lot of time there as a department support person in Culture. I have also been part of the Campus Emergency Response team for years, and now recently also of the Vrijhof Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) team. I will continue to do both of those as well. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, walking our dog Lotje, going to aqua fitness and cycling through beautiful Twente. In short, I am always busy doing something. See you somewhere on Campus, greetings Jolinde
