I'm happy to introduce myself as the newest member of the CES - Information Management/Functioneel Beheer team. My name is Christian Brouns and I’m originally from Zuid-Limburg. You may still notice it slightly in my accent when I speak Dutch. I studied Medieval History at the University of Utrecht with a little Erasmus detour to the University of Wales. After my studies, I had several jobs but eventually made my way into Functioneel Beheer. I have worked as a consultant for a few years and am now happy to join the UT. I currently live in Apeldoorn with my partner (Jana) and our cat (Hugo), but we will all be moving to the city of Enschede in March. In my free time, I enjoy reading, history, historical maps, playing board games and RPGs. I am involved as a scenario writer for a Science-fiction live roleplaying event that has been running for several years now. I`m looking forward to meeting you all and learning from all of you.
