Dear colleagues,
After the departure of Erik van Oenen from SOIR and the arrival of Rita de Wilde as interim head of SOIR until 1 June, we are looking at how we will continue with SOIR as a department. Discussions about this are currently taking place between the SOIR department and Lieke, director of CES. The starting point is to optimally and logically position the substantive topics, tasks and employees of SOIR within CES and UT. Various scenarios have been developed in the past period, and one of these scenarios is now being seriously explored further together with those involved. Naturally, we not only take input from SOIR itself but also from other departments as much as possible. The CES Service Council also provides advice on this. Discussions about this are still ongoing and no decisions have been made yet. As soon as more is known and a decision has been made, our colleagues at SOIR and those directly involved will of course first be informed, and then other stakeholders will be informed.
