English Proficiency

RESULT

This course provides staff members with opportunities to practise and improve English to raise their overall English proficiency to near-native level.

CONTENT

Designed for learners at CEF C2 level, participants will learn to understand with ease virtually everything they hear and read, understand colloquial asides, talk about complex and sensitive issues without awkwardness, and express themselves precisely and fluently.

The course consists of 10 two-hour classes, providing opportunity for discussion, pair work and group work. In addition, participants are expected to spend time on self-study assignments.

DURATION AND TIME INVESTMENT

Attendance at every lesson is essential. The course is held over 10 weeks. Homework is expected to take approximately two hours each week.

    Cambridge English Proficiency Masterclass Student’s Book with Online Skills & Language Practice
    Course materials will be provided by UT Language Centre.

  • Requirements

    Before we can confirm your participation, you will be required to take an online English placement test to ensure you have registered for the correct level that matches your current proficiency. Further details will be provided after you complete your registration.
