Willie Wartaal was at once firmly on the music map of the Netherlands in 2005, when he released the successful debut single "Watskeburt?!" with De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig.
After eighteen years of playing festivals, pop halls and clubs, he is diving into the theater for the first time. 'Moederdag' is a program full of music, funny and serious stories about his life, his difficult childhood, having a drug-addicted mother and the life lessons he took from it.
