Exhibition | The many creative faces of the UT Kim Hovestad

New series exhibitions

There is a wealth of creative talent within our UT community. Students and staff who are actively engaged in creativity and art alongside their studies or work. Under the theme 'THE MANY CREATIVE FACES OF UT', we are offering these talents the unique opportunity to put their creativity in the spotlight and share their artistic passions with us. Come and discover the inspiring and diverse art forms that our own UT graduates have to offer!

We are delighted to announce that our colleague Kim Hovestad, business draughtsman and illustrator and communications consultant at UT, is kicking off the event. Kim creates enchanting watercolours that she then manipulates digitally, resulting in a unique fusion of traditional and modern techniques. Nature, and especially animals and freedom, are a recurring theme in her work. From 5 September, you can admire Kim's beautiful artworks in the Small exhibition space. Don't miss it!

"I painted a collection focusing on animals, framed by backgrounds with a soft feel. I use watercolour and combine it with digital drawing."

Kim Hovestad

Vrijhof Culture invites the viewer to enter Kim Hovestad's world, where the boundaries between reality and fantasy are blurred. Want to know more about Kim or buy one of her images?
