Interactive lecture by UT-alumnus Gilles Meijer
In the following PLD Entrepreneurial Talk, Gilles Meijer, UT-alumnus, and entrepreneur (Golden Egg Check, ScoutinScience) addresses the topic of startup(s) and their success and failure factors. In the first part of the talk, Gilles gives his perspective based on research, specifically in the way how investors are assessing startups in an early stage. The second part of his session contains a more personal story about the growth and ambitions of Golden Egg Check. Gilles talks about entrepreneurship during a pandemic, resulting in new concepts (StartupRoulette, She Launches) where Golden Egg Check adapted to trends like remote working and increasing attention for diverse teams.
This interactive lecture and discussion is open for practitioners, students, staff, and anyone else from the Twente/Deventer region and will also be joined by colleagues and coaches from the European Panther programme and Flanders Business School.
