No bicycle parking on the O&O square - where should you park your bike then?

Since July last year, we have cleared the O&O Square of parked bikes to ensure it remains an attractive and safe place to gather, study, and work. We’ve noticed that many new students are still unaware of this, so we would like to remind you!

Why should no bicycle parking at the O&O square?

The O&O Square is intended as a welcoming meeting place where you can meet, relax, and study. To keep the square accessible and safe, bike parking has been restricted. Without parked bikes, the entrances to the buildings are more accessible for everyone, including emergency services and people using mobility aids.

Where can I park my bicycle instead?

No worries! There are plenty of bicycle racks available close to the O&O Square. Check the P-signs on the map below. The bicycle racks behind Hal B building and near the Teahouse (yellow arrows) usually have ample space. This way, you can park your bike easily and securely.

Attention: Removal of improperly parked bikes

To keep the square clear, improperly parked bikes will be removed. If your bike is not placed in a rack, it may be taken away. You can retrieve your bike from the bike storage area opposite Campus security at the campus entrance.
