The Bridging Project
Supporting a smooth transition to university mathematics
The Bridging Project is an educational initiative developed at the University of Twente to better prepare students for the academic demands of university-level mathematics. This project centers around the Bridging Course—a transition course specifically designed to support the move from secondary school to university. The Bridging Course is a fully online, modular program aimed at closing the gap between high school mathematics and the expectations of higher education.
Targeted at both incoming university students and their instructors, the course focuses on reinforcing essential secondary-level math skills that form the foundation for first-year university mathematics.
