Hey everyone!
My name is Simone Oolhorst and I've recently stepped into the role of Head of the Office of Educational Support (OES) at the EEMCS faculty. I’m excited to be part of this team and have the chance to make a positive impact on our students' journeys.
I've been with the University of Twente since 2007, starting as an admission officer at CES and eventually moving up to become the department head of Student Affairs and Services in 2018. This is the CES department that guides the student through the process of application, admission, visa, student housing and enrolment as smoothly as possible.
I'm genuinely thrilled to collaborate with all the talented OES colleagues to provide good support and guidance to our students at EEMCS. Together, we'll work hard to maintain and enhance the quality of education and create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
I would like to thank you very much for the warm welcome I've received. I'm really looking forward to working alongside each one of you as we embark on this exciting journey together.
