Luuk Spreeuwers has been appointed as member of the board of the NVPHBV (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Patroonherkenning en Beeldverwerking or Dutch Society of Pattern Recognition and Image Processing). The NVPHBV is the Dutch representative to the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). It aims to unite science and industrial R&D from a variety of sectors to share insights regarding both scientific research and practical applications in these fields. It organizes two events per year to bring experts and enthusiasts together to share, challenge, surprise and learn.
