Lecture on Nobel Prize in Physics

The faculty of Applied Sciences and Studium Generale organize annual lectures about the Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry and Medicine. On 29 October, Jurriaan Schmitz gave this year’s lecture about the Nobel Prize in Physics, for Akasaki, Amano and Nakamura. The laureates received the prize for the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes. Schmitz’ lecture can be viewed from the Studium Generale website.
