At the EuroCVD conference, held in Sempach, Switzerland in July, Mengdi Yang won the Best Presentation Award for her contribution about hot-wire-assisted atomic layer deposition of tungsten thin films. EuroCVD is the prime European conference on chemical vapour deposition, a thin-film coating technique widely used in microchip fabrication.
