On 26 August 2015, B.K. Boksteen successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis “Field-plate assisted RESURF power devices: Gradient based optimization, degradation and analysis”. This PhD-work deals with the understanding of silicon power transistors through extensive modeling and electrical measurements. See the MESA+ website for an interview with Boni.
