On March 23, 2023, the Pervasive Systems group visited its long-time collaborator Nedap N.V. at Groenlo. The collaboration started about 25 years ago already, and has since then been continuous. We did have several research projects together, with many bachelor and master student assignments. The meeting introduced the current researchers at PS with the professionals in Nedap's various business groups including Identification Systems, Livestock Management, Healthcare, and Retail.
Both PS and Nedap presented several pitches on their recent researches, which triggered interests on both sides. The visit included an interesting tour around Nedap’s facility and products. Their products and technologies sparked insightful discussions for many of our students and staff. PS looks forward to continuing the fruitful collaboration with Nedap in more future projects.
