On July 26, Paul gave a keynote presentation at the IEEE SmartNets 2023 conference (https://smartnets.ieee.tn/) in Istanbul.
The title of the presentation was: “Smart Sensing for a better world”. In this presentation Paul highlighted various methods on how ICT can help in addressing major societal challenges. A major focus of the presentation was about the Arise project. The key message was that scientists have the possibility and responsibility to work on aspects that can have an impact on society. That message was well received. The talk is a reflection of our impactful research at PS. Thanks for isnpiring, Paul!
