For the last 4 months, Wout has been doing his internship at the University of Southern California. Under supervision of Prof. Andreas Molisch, he worked on the evaluation of channel measurements of cell-free massive MIMO systems. Through the channel measurements, they were able to gain valuable insights into the behaviour of the channel in urban environments. The implications of this research holds a lot of potential for future deployment strategies of 5G and 6G cellular networks and we are happy that Wout had an opportunity to contribute to this field.
