BIOGRAPHY
I was born in 1989 in the north of the Netherlands and started studying Industrial Design in 2007, at Twente University. I graduated for a combined master in Industrial Design and Biomedical Engineering in 2015, on the first design of the MyHand orthosis for stroke patients. Then I started working at Hankamp Rehab in Enschede as an external PhD candidate.
My PhD research revolves around orthotic support for the distally impaired upper extremity. Currently I am working on the development of a wrist support for stroke and Duchenne patients, in the framework of the eNHANCE project.
