Description
Dual phase (DP) steels are frequently used in structural applications due to combination of versatile properties;
- high strength (500-1200 MPa),
- Good formability.Damage evolution of the alloy is very crucial in forming operations. The alloy exhibits anisotropic damage behaviour due to its oriented, banded complex microstructure. The aim of the project is to construct coupled, macroscopic, physically based damage model which takes size effects (mesh, physical) into account.
