The 4th Interpore Benelux day, 2 Nov 2020. Interpore Benelux aims to strengthen the contacts between research groups, both in the Netherlands and in the Benelux union, working on the topic of fluids transport and porous media.

4th InterPore Benelux Day

Brief description of subject areas: InterPore Benelux brings together researchers that are active in modeling multiphase flows and transport in complex porous media. The conference explores innovative experimental and numerical approaches to effectively apply existing porous media technologies to applications such as inkjet printing, energy storage and geothermal energy. The scientific program will focus on advances in (but not limited to):

  • Transport phenomena
  • Multiphysics-multiphase flows
  • Particle transport and capillary effects
  • Reactive flows
  • Swelling and shrinking porous media
  • Wetting and spreading of liquids
  • Paper and textiles
  • Upscaling in porous media
  • Fibers and composites
  • Other porous media applications
