Studies focusing on environmental acoustics, wind turbine aerodynamics, and aeroacoustic noise understanding and reduction.
Computational Fluid Dynamics - Algorithms & Design
Development of improved fluid dynamics simulations.
Fluid Mechanics in Turbomachinery
Computational, experimental and analytical studies in fluid and solid mechanics ranging from application-oriented studies to fundamental mechanics-oriented studies.
Fluid Mechanics of Functional Materials
Development of multi-scale functional materials by using droplets or bubbles as 'building block templates' for solid materials.
Biophysical Fluid Dynamics
Biomedical fluid mechanics with applications in blood flow through arteries and heart-lung machines, and airfoil during non-invasive ventilation therapy.
Computational Physiology
Intrinsic (bio) physics of physiological flows such as blood flow in the cardiovascular system, circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricular system and flow in the microvasculature.
