In this presentation, the content of the PDEng programmes will be explained, as well as the rules for admission and how to enroll.
What is PDEng?
The PDEng is a 2-year post MSc technological designers programme. Recently three PDEng tracks started at the University of Twente, i.e. Energy and Process Technology, Civil Engineering and Robotics. The PDEng tracks at the UT offer a combined educational and design programme. A technological design will be central in the programme and will be initiated by the external company. The programme has a deepening and broadening character, with ample attention for professional development. The design project will be carried out externally (company, institute) while the educational programme will be followed at the University. In collaboration with the external organization, high level, creative and new designs for complex issues will be aimed at.
After successful completion of the PDEng programme, you are entitled to use the international recognized academic degree “Professional Doctorate in Engineering” (PDEng).
