The pITCom board with the help of Wim H. Bakker from ESA department at ITC offers the Phyton course (for Beginner). The course aims to provide students with basic programming and operational skills of Phyton to support the research and practice.
Upon completion, a certificate with 1 ECTS will be provided. There is no test, but there may be some small assignments/homework, and full attendance is required.
The course will be conducted on three Wednesday afternoons, on 9, 16, and 23 October 2019 at 2-5 pm. As this is a Phyton class for beginners, the following topics will be discussed during the course:
o Session 1: the basics to learn programming with Phyton
o Session 2: key topics of programming in Phyton
o Session 3: how to handle spatial data in Phyton.
The course has a limit number of participants. The first 30 to register will be selected for taking this course.
