THIS DEBATE IS A PROGRAM PART OF THE D'RAN19 FESTIVAL: FESTIVAL OF DARE, DEMOCRACY AND DIALOGUE. IT WILL TAKE PLACE ON MAY 17-18 IN ROOMBEEK, ENSCHEDE.
THE DEBATE
The National Prevention Agreement (Preventieakkoord) was presented at the end of November 2018: the government and dozens of organizations presented an agreement to allow Dutch people to live healthier before the year 2040. But how big is the problem of an unhealthy lifestyle? In which ways can we successfully change a lifestyle? And what do you need for that: human support, eHealth, money, time?
On Saturday 18 May (13.30-14.15) we will start into a discussion, with humor and sharp theses, about how the National Prevention Agreement affects us all. Manuel Vazquez tells his personal story about how he turned the switch and lost 53 kilos and became fitter. Then, among other things, a scientist, an experience expert and the ambassador for prevention coalitions Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport come to shed their light on the problem. But we also like to throw our blue throw microphone in your direction, so that you can also have your say.
