General
In general, when transferring from a university of applied science in the Netherlands (HBO) to a university master, a premaster is required. The BIT HBO premaster/transfer minor:
- typically is around 30 credits, one semester
- contains a math, academic research skills, combined with computer science and/or business depending on the background
- Starts in September (for programmes containing math and programming)
- one attempt, two test opportunities per study unit, maximum of one year
The premaster is a condition for admission to the Master, you apply for the premaster, by applying for the Master via www.utwente.nl/master. Upon application the admission committee will decide the (contents of) the premaster.
You can also complete a standerd premaster package as a minor via Kies op Maat www.kiesopmaat.nl. There are three versions based on your background.
