Advisory board

The BIT programs hold close relationship with the working field. In 1992 the Advisory Board BIT was established. The members of the advisory board hold positions in large multinationals to small companies within the IT sector or information intensive organisations. The aim of the advisory board is to assure that the BIT program is with the demands of the working field, delivering graduates that are able to function effectively within a wide range of IT positions. I studied Business Information Technology at the University of Twente. I started my career as a business analyst in consulting in 2005 and have since gained over 12 years of experience in Service Industries across the globe. Currently I am a core member of the Financial Institution practice of A.T. Kearney focusing on Retail banking and Payments across Europe. 

My passion is to manage teams to solve complex strategic and organizational problems with a functional focus on digital strategy and organizational transformation. When asking my clients what they value most about the results I deliver they share their appreciation not only for the solution but also for the momentum I have created within their organization. The foundation of this pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset was build during my years at the University of Twente.  

As a member of the BIT Advisory Board I bring the voice of the industry to faculty ensuring that the leaders of tomorrow are best prepared for the challenges that they will be facing.

Since 2006 Managing Director at family-run company OVSoftware Groep. Founded in 1972 in Enschede. OVSoftware develops custom IT solutions for enterprises and governmental organizations in the Netherlands and Germany. Simacan and RGB+ offer traffic control tower and transport management solutions for the transport and logistics industry. Docdynamic offers document management solutions for legal and accounting industry. All offices combined count 130 IT professionals.

One of the first BIT students in 1993 with an adventurous mindset and received MSc title in 1999. For 5 years strategy consultant at Arthur D. Little and later co-founded Quintel Strategy Consultancy (currently AT Kearney). Worked for European Internet, telecom and utilities industries. Specialized on post-merger integration, corporate finance and online strategy.
