List Of approved electives 2024-2025
- This list contains electives that are pre-approved by the Examination Board
- Courses are usually selected from related programmes like Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science or Business Adminstration.
- If you would like to select a course that is NOT on the list of elective courses, you need to ask the permission of the Examination Board.
- Because the list is based on previously approved courses, not all courses on the list might be offered in the upcoming academic year, so always check!
- Most of these courses are offered by other programmes and these programmes decide who can take part. So participation is not guaranteed, you might need permission from the organizing programme to participate. Presence of this list means you are allowed to include it in your study programme and a request to the exam board is not neccesary, not that you are automatically allowed to participate by the organizing programme, nor does it mean that you meet the prerequisites. You can always check with the MBIT programme coordinator if you are not able to register. Sometimes courses are not open for registration by accident.
- Furthermore, check if the prerequisites for a course are a match with your background and previous knowledge. BIT students come from various backgrounds and not all elective courses on the list are fit for every background.
- If a link does not work, check by course code or name in the UT Course catalogue www.utwente.nl/coursecatalogue.
