Organisation & Contact

Students with a (chronic) illness, condition or impairment may be eligible for teaching facilities and/or exam facilities. A standard exam facility for instance is extra time for exams in case of dyslexia.

Customized facilities are aimed at removing barriers in the teaching programme and/or within exams. These facilities may be related to access to infrastructure (buildings, classrooms) and study materials, adjustments to the form of assessment, alternative learning paths or a customized study plan.

Study advisers are mandated by faculty boards to handle requests. A request should be accompanied by documents. Make an appointment with your study adviser as soon as a (chronic) illness or impairment influences your ability to study.

If other circumstances than (chronic) illness, conditions or impairments impede your study progress, a study adviser may be able to support you as well. Examples: top-sport and/or informal care responsibilities.
