30th International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV30) chaired by Jim Kok (department TFE)

We are pleased to announce that Jim Kok, associate professor of the Department of Thermal and Fluid Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering Technology at the University of Twente, is the chair of the 30th International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV30). This prestigious event will take place from July 8 to 11, 2024, in Amsterdam.

Organized by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV) and the Dutch Acoustical Society (NAG), ICSV30 is the leading conference in the field of acoustics and vibration. The congress provides a platform for scientists and engineers to share groundbreaking research and innovative theories.

With a wide range of technical sessions on topics such as aeroacoustics, environmental noise, and vibration control, ICSV30 promises to be an enriching experience. The program includes renowned plenary speakers who will discuss the latest developments and future directions in the field. In addition to the technical program, ICSV30 features an engaging social agenda with networking events, a gala dinner, and guided tours of Amsterdam.

Students specializing in acoustics and vibration are encouraged to participate, with reduced registration fees and opportunities to compete for the Best Paper Award. The congress strives for inclusivity and welcomes participants from around the world to contribute to this high-quality event.
