July 2012 - Maurice Bosman succesfully defended his PhD thesis on smart electricity networks (smart grids).
Maurice carried out his PhD research within the Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Programming (DMMP) and Computer Architecture for Embedded Systems (CAES) groups, and the CTIT research institute. His supervisors were Professor Johann Hurink and Professor Gerard Smit. Bosman's research is part of the Green Energy Initiative recently launched by the University of Twente, and is funded by the Dutch Technology Foundation (STW), Essent and GasTerra.
