August 2013 Our Chinese PhD students Yuan Feng, Xian Qiu and Dongshuang Hou have successfully defended their PhD theses on August 28 2013.
The three PhD projects address various topics in cooperative game theory, and continue a long tradition of the group's cooperation with China. Yuan Feng and Dongshuang Hou were supervised by Theo Driessen, Xian Qiu by Walter Kern. All three students were funded by personal grants from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and in their final year, they also received support from the University of Twente. This support is highly acknowledged. The three PhD defenses were embraced by the Second Dutch-Chinese Workshop on Game Theory & Applications, with some 30 participants from both China and Europe.
