Shaping2030 on working with the industry: diversity and the factory of the future

What will the industry of the future look like? And what does that mean for the University of Twente? It is one of those questions that cannot be answered in just a simple phrase. Gerben Edelijn joined us on Friday, to discuss the future relation between the industry and the university, as part of the Shaping2030 inspiration sessions.

In his keynote, Gerben Edelijn, who is a UT alumnus and CEO of Thales Nederland, addressed two main topics: the requirements of the factory of the future in terms of staff requirements and workforce, as well as the need for diversity in teams. The keynote was the kick-off for the 70 participants of the session, to come up with their ideas and thoughts on industry and university collaboration in the coming decade.

You can watch the video registration of the session here. Also, there is the opportunity to leave your feedback and ideas on the topic.
