Location: At campus, details to be confirmed. No livestream, on-site only.
Funding: Supported by the Incentive Fund.
Target audience: Students and staff of the UT as well as anyone affiliated with them like acquaintances and family.
Keynote speaker: Award-winning Lieutenant-Colonel Marc van der Burgh from the Dutch National Army. He got awarded for his efforts in making the Dutch Army more inclusive and neurodiversity-friendly. Read more here (use Google Translate if necessary).
The PhD & EngD Network of the University of Twente (P-Nut) organizes a series of events about neurodiversity at the UT (full proposal here). The event series starts with a co-creation event in a facilitated brainstorming style. This starter event aims at collecting ideas, e.g., about course material, ambassadors, building design, HR policy, and so forth, with the idea of activating future efforts.
We are looking for members of the UT community to assist in organizing and supporting these events. Additionally, for our first event, we are looking for moderators to lead discussion sessions on various neurodiversity topics and suggestions for these topics. If you are interested in helping or have suggestions, please fill out our questionnaire here. We also look for a paid student assistant to support the organization of future events. If you are interested or know someone in your network, please let us know and we can provide more details on the assignment.
