The Waterworks of Money Lecture & exhibition

Money makes the world go round. But how exactly? The financial world, our monetary system and the banking system are unfathomable to many people. Artist and cartographer Carlijn Kingma breaks through this with her beautiful drawings. By depicting money as water, she shows where it flows, who has access to its source, and where droughts fall. She replaces the jargon of economists, bankers and tax specialists with clear imagery that shows how big an impact money has on our lives. Kingma takes you into the minutiae of The Waterwork of Money. In collaboration with Duitenberg and Vrijhof Culture. From 22 October to 12 December, The Waterwork of Money will be on display in the Vrijhof exhibition space.

Lecture in Dutch.
