Philip Vermeulen: Chasing The Dot Interview and exhibition

What does light do to our brains, how do we register movement, how does sound feel, and do we actually see what we think we see? In his art works Philip Vermeulen explores our perception through movement, light, vibration and sound. The exhibition Chasing the Dot in Rijksmuseum Twenthe shows six room-filling installations. As Artist in Residence at the UT, 2019-2020, he explored  with students physical phenomena such as light and sound. He achieved international success with his hypersculptures which seem to transform before your eyes. Hiska Bakker MA will interview him, followed by a Q&A. In cooperation with Student Union.

Before and after (18.30 till 21.30 PM) you can visit the expo. Free for students; 7,50 euro for non-students. Always register via https://tickets.rijksmuseumtwenthe.nl/nl/studiumgenerale/tickets

Till 22 October students will have priority.
