Climate Event 2024: Inspiration & Collaboration towards Climate Action Keynotes by Derk Loorbach & Valerie Trouet

On 5 November 2024, we welcome you to join the first edition of the University of Twente's Climate Event. Joining will give you access to a wide range of inspiring speakers, a look at the latest research and innovation at UT, and networking opportunities with over 200 researchers, industry professionals, policy makers and students. We have carefully crafted this event to support collaborations across our community for developing the solutions we urgently to address the climate challenge. Registration for the event is now open, and free of charge! The Climate Event offers a varied and inspiring programme, combined with plenty of opportunities for networking and engaging with our experts on climate related topics. We are proud to announce our leading keynote speakers: Derk Loorbach, director of DRIFT, and Valerie Trouet, director of the Belgian Climate Centre. Join thematic parallel sessions about energy, weather extremes, smart sustainable industry and more, and discover the pioneering research and innovation that takes place at University of Twente at the poster market. Last but not least, you can meet fellow researchers & industry professionals over lunch and drinks to find opportunities for collaboration.
