Dear Reader,
My name is Finn Slots, and I would like to quickly introduce myself and explain my motivation for (hopefully) joining the student body of the faculty council. I am 21 years old and I study Advanced Technology. I am currently busy with finishing up my board year as Chairman and Commissioner of Internal Affairs for S.A. Astatine.
Over the three years I have studied here in Enschede I have always done more than just studying, which I would like to continue next year as well. I have mostly done this by being active within Astatine. During my board year, I have learned a lot about management, policy writing and drafting up budgets. I have enjoyed this thoroughly and would like to keep growing my knowledge and experience. Being a part of the faculty council is therefore the perfect opportunity for me.
In both my functions as chairman and internal affairs, I have been in contact with other board members and students from the different studies in our faculty. Due to this, I am familiar with all students of our faculty and their needs and wishes. In the faculty council I would like to, and be able to use this knowledge to represent the students of our faculty well.
I assure that you can put your trust in me to come up for the students and their wants. I hope to receive your vote these elections!
