Many UT scientists have paused existing projects to focus on coronavirus related research. Such as Ruud Verdaasdonk and Frans de Jongh from the TechMed Center. After dedicating their time to new types of ventilators and masks for COVID-19 patients, they now created a ‘beekeeper hat’, a facemask alternative to protect us against coronavirus.
