COPS-S&T in the spotlight!

OUR VALUED COLLEAGUE, WILLEM VOS, FULL PROFESSOR AT COPS-TNW, HAS RECENTLY RECEIVED EXCITING NEWS FROM THE OPTICAL SOCIETY (FORMERLY: OSA), THE WORLD'S LARGEST IN THIS FIELD.

A recent publication from COPS, in collaboration with the world-leading lighting industry Signify (formerly: Philips Lighting), has captured the attention of prominent news media with a reach of millions. This is an extraordinary achievement that we proudly celebrate!

Bert Mulder, a recent graduate from the AP program, has made a valuable contribution as a co-author to this research, which originated from his BSc project. This recognition is a wonderful reward for the teamwork within COPS.

The inspiring aspect of this result is that the underlying question was highly practical, originating from the industry, while through the research, we have gained fundamental insights.
