During the 2012 Dutch Polymer Day, Hairong Wu, René Heimbuch & Avijit Kumar, PhD students from the Materials Science and Technology of Polymers group and the Physics of Interfaces and Nanomaterials group received the Poster Prize for their poster ‘Conductivity of a single octanethiol molecule studied by scanning tunneling ’.
