Standing for participation elections: 17 April 2024

The video below shows why you should put yourself forward as a candidate for 2024!

Importance

Employee and student participation is vital to the functioning of our university. Whether you work or study here, your input and ideas on UT policy matter: your opinion, approval or advice is important. Of course, your input is different from that of policymakers; precisely because you represent your department, colleagues or faculty, your input is essential. Participation is the place where you take responsibility, have influence, discuss policy, meet new people and together contribute to an even better university.

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!

Do you think participation is important? Then do your bit and stand for election! You can stand as a candidate until 17: 00 hrs on 17 April 2024 at the latest.

HOW TO STAND AS A CANDIDATE?

To stand as a candidate, either join one of the existing parties or start a new party (with its own list). Currently, Campus Coalition, DAS and UReka are represented in the University Council. DAS and UReka are student parties and CC for employees.

For more information, feel free to contact the University Council Registry: L. Tijink-Zinad (tel. 4892026) or Ms I. Olde Engberink (tel. 4892027).
